Budget-friendly option with good illumination
I love this flashlight, especially considering it's under $50.
Still loving it (updated review)
The company has exceptional customer service, and they sent me a new flashlight. I bought this light in January and it worked great until last week when it started to flutter out after fully charging. However, I love the memory button feature that lets me use the last light setting when I turn it off, and the battery life is great. It's well-designed and priced about right. I highly recommend it for short-term use.
This is a high-quality flashlight that feels solid in the hand. The on/off button and separate button for cycling through modes make it easy to use, and it charges via USB.
Unlike many flashlights, this one has a separate button for cycling through brightness levels, in addition to the on/off button. The attached video shows me cycling through the levels, and though the manual had some confusing instructions, it's pretty straightforward to use. It charges via USB, which is a bonus.
Intensely bright and hot
The Suburban Experimentalist
This is my new favorite flashlight, beating out my giant Duracell by a landslide. It's bright with a variety of modes, including strobe and SOS, and has two features I love: the tactical switch that turns on the light when you half-press the switch, and the memory function that recalls the last setting you used. The beam spread is nice, with the middle being brighter than the outside edge. It feels high quality and isn't too heavy to carry around.
High-quality and rechargeable
As a fan of LED flashlights, this one is now my favorite. It's incredibly bright and built like a tank, with easy-to-use controls that let you independently set the mode and turn it on/off from the tail switch. The light remembers the last mode you set, and it has a battery level indicator that also shows the charging status. It comes with everything you need, including the battery, cable, and case. The only downside is that the storage pouch doesn't fully enclose the flashlight, but that's a minor quibble for an otherwise solid 5-star flashlight.
